Duttlungafullar kindur / Whimsical sheep

Að undanförnu hef ég verið að gera kindur, hrúta og lömb í formi bolla og leika mér aðeins með litina á þeim.
Mig dreymdi eitt sinn að konurnar í ullarvinnslunni sem ég deili verslunar húsi með hefðu jurta litað allar kindur áður en þær fóru út á tún. Þetta var ákaflega litríkur og skemmtilegur draumur og hef ég haft mikla þörf síðan að skapa kindur í öllum regnbogans litum.

Kindur eru alltaf kindur og meira að segja í formi keramik bolla fara þær sínar eigin leiðir. Þessar áttu að verða alveg þvílíkt bleikar en vildu ekkert verða bleikar og urðu fallega drapplitaðar í staðinn sem ýtir fallega undir lita tónana sem koma út frá Hvítár sandinum sem er í þeim.
Stóðst ekki mátið þar sem ég bý við bakka Hvítár og fæ mér stundum göngutúr meðfram Hvítá með börnunum mínum að týna upp jurtir bæði fyrir glerunga og sápur gerð.

Recently, I have been making sheep, rams and lambs in the form of cups and playing a little bit with their colors.
I had a dream once that the women in the woolecenter that I share a work house with had herb dyed all the sheep before they went out to the meadows. It was a very colorful and fun dream and I have had a great need since then to create sheep in all the colors of the rainbow.

However, sheep are always sheep and even in the form of ceramic cups they go their own way. These were supposed to be very pink, but they just didn't want to be pink and instead became a beautiful beige that of exaggerating the color tones emanating from the river Hvítá that is in them.
I couldn't resist putting sand from the banks of the river Hvítá into the cups since I live right beside it and sometimes take walks along side the river banks with my kids and collect herbs for my glaze and soap making.
